George Diacogiannis, (University of Piraeus) was the recipient of the 2022 FEBS National Award for his outstanding contributions to finance research. George Diakogiannis is an emeritus professor of the Department of Finance and Banking Administration of the University of Piraeus. He has taught at the University of Bath, the University of Warwick, and the Department of Finance and Banking at the University of Piraeus. His research has been published in various academic journals including: Accounting and Business Research, Applied Financial Economics, Journal of Business Finance and Accounting, Journal of Managerial and Decision Economics, University Computing, Project Appraisal, Managerial and Decision Economics, Public Finance, International Review of Economics and Business, European Journal of Finance, Managerial Finance, Quarterly Journal of Finance International Review of Financial Analysis.
